My 8 year old really wanted to hang out with the Mocha women this week so I invited her to join us during our studio time. I'm impressed with her card because she is the first born, the Queen of our family. She is very much a manager, she'll tell you how to fix your life in ways that you didn't even know you were

broken. And, of course, she's only telling you this because she loves you. Right?

Over the weekend, she "graduated" to her own room and has really turned up her Queenly aura. Anyone who comes into her room must now follow the rules of her room, which include putting away anything you take out, placing all books in alphabetical order, knocking before entering, and other such management tactics. This girl loves to be in charge and loves to see things ordered and maintained.

So to see the card she created indicates to me that there's struggle within herself to tone things down a bit in the management area. She is internalizing the knowledge that she simply can't control and rule over everything in her realm. This is a good sign. She's been slightly hard to live with lately. :)
