Terminate My Resume,
Part 2

This is the card I made on Thursday, as as response to the Play Your Hand question, "The "Blessed" that impacts you the most."
I couldn't really decide between any of the Blesseds, because as Roberta said, they're all so intertwined. What I DID feel was that the Blesseds were akin to Jesus handing me protective gear before he beat me up.

I'm very thankful He told me the Blesseds before He opened up my soul! It was as though He was saying, "Blessed are the meek, the mourning, the poor... because I'm ABOUT to make you feel meek and poor and it's GOING to make you mourn!" He gave me some comfort and an eternal view to cling to before He began pummeling my pride. I appreciate that. This has been a tough 2 weeks in the Sermon on the Mount for me.

Ok, so I took this picture of Jesus and put red Saran Wrap where Jesus' eyes were so that when I held it up to the light, it would look like laser beams shooting from his eyes into my head and heart. But he ended up just looking really, really creepy so I opted to go with the heart theme again. (Denise was having nightmares about ithe red eyes and when Anna saw it she asked me if Jesus was hot.) And actually, the hearts are a good mirror to my resume card- the hearts represent Christ's Erin Love.
"Faithful are the wounds of a friend." Yes, He's wounding me through this, but it is because of His ever-faithful love for me.
