In
Every Place
This one actually fits inside a CD case behind a starry see-through piece
of paper. It symbolizes my writing life. Now, most of my writing is done
electronically, so I thought a CD would be a nice medium. I have my old
business card from the states at the top. Over my face is the Queen of
spades. Sometimes I've tended toward being a queen in my writing career.
My hope is that identifying this will show my great need for the KING
in my life and His direction for my writing. In the center of the disk
is a yellow sun. Within that is a dove carrying a heart. It is above the
nib of a pen. This shows my hope that the Holy Spirit is carrying His
message through the nib of my pen. But the Holy Spirit should always be
above my pen. The verse is from 2 Corinthians 2:14 which reads,
"But thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ and
manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every
place."
The yard below and the two trees symbolize America and France, writing
being a bridge between the two. I seem to navigate life better when I
write, no matter where I live. Also there's a vial of perfume on the right
written in French to show that Jesus' perfume will permeate France again.
