We ended up postponing the wedding just 2 days before the date. I felt horrible about inconveniencing all our guests, wasting all the effort my family and I put into planning this beautiful event, losing deposits with the caterer, etc. but there was no other option.
We ended up getting married a couple of months after that (through much prayer and soul searching) in a quiet ceremony with just our families in attendance.
I still don't fully understand the purpose behind all that happened during our crisis, but this card illustrates the separation and the tears that were shed during that difficult time in my life. - Sarah
