Shuffle the Deck

1. Recycle Coffee Cuff. The next time you get a to-go cup of coffee with one of those cardboard cuffs around it, save the cuff. Take it home and decorate it with magazine clippings, paint, etc. Put it in a plastic baggie in your purse or briefcase and hand it to the barista the next time you stop for to-go coffee instead of using another of their new cuffs.

"Freedom From Want", Norman Rockwell, 19432. Everyone in Their Place. It can be very traditional where certain members of the family sit or sleep. The father sits at the head of the dining room table, the wife always has to sleep on the left side of the bed, or the cat sleeps on top of sister’s head! Cut out pictures of different furniture of either a dining room or living room setting. Arrange them on a piece of construction paper and label where everyone sits (or use actual photos!).

3. Trading Places. If you could be anyone else in the world for a day, a week, a month, or a year, who would it be? Cut out a picture of this person and cut out a picture of your face and put over theirs. Write on the back how you’d use your position, spend your day, week, month, or year.

Play Your Hand (top)
Decorate a playing card or a playing-card-sized piece of paper or cardboard with something associated with the following:

1. A time when you acted one way, changed your mind and then acted another way (old man vs. new) (Col. 3:1-2)

2. Things that are true so that you can look at this card and be reminded of them whenever your mind wanders away.

3. What a garment would look like if it were made of mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience (v. 3:12)
