WEEK 2 (top)

Shuffle the Deck

1. Personal Letter. Buy a stack of pre-paid postcards. Write notes to your friends and/or family and mail them. Decorate them if you wish. It's great to receive hand written letters.

2. Family Member Hired. Someone has answered your ad (from Week 1's Shuffle) to join your family and you've hired them. Write a brief user's manual for the job. Include rules of the house and benefits.

3. Daily Digital 1. With your digital camera or camera phone, take a picture of the EXACT same object everyday in the exact same place around the exact same time. Keep the photos on hand for a Shuffle found in Week 4. It is best if the object is organic or in an organic setting and something you can take a picture of EVERYDAY: a tree in your yard or other piece of landscaping, your face or the face of a family member, your breakfast meal, the surface in your house that collects all the mail, lunch bags, and keys, etc.

Play Your Hand (top)
Decorate a playing card or a playing-card-sized piece of paper or cardboard with something associated with the following:

1. Things God has given you stewardship over.

2. Represent the mystery described in verse 1:27 as "glorious riches" and "the hope of glory". What might that look like?

3. Show your overflow of thankfulness to God (see number 11 at the bottom of page 64 of Cappuccino with Colossians).
