Shuffle the Deck

1. 10 Things I Love About You. Choose one thing that you LOVE that is unusual or that no one knows about (a teddy bear from childhood, your 7th grade Spanish book, writing with a certain pen, a coffee mug, shampoo, piece of clothing, handbag, etc.) Write 10 reasons why you love it. If you want, decorate the paper with pictures of your beloved object.

2. Family Member Wanted. Write a want ad that outlines the qualifications someone would need to have to be a member of your family as if it were a classified ad in the newspaper.

3. Far From the Tree. Cut out various pictures of fruit from magazines, all shapes, types, and sizes. On a piece of paper draw the trunk of a tree and then arrange and glue your different fruit clippings to make a crazy fruit tree.

Decorate a playing card or a playing-card-sized piece of paper or cardboard with something associated with the following:

1. Cool things that God has made that you enjoy or make you happy.

2. (Col. 1:21 - 22) Make a card that compares and contrasts when "you were at one time strangers and enemies" to "being without blemish and blameless." Which one are you today?

3. Paul writes a letter of prayer, love, and exhortation to people he has never met. Who are some of the people you have never met that you love and pray for? Why? Write them a letter (you don't have to mail it.)
